During this time of year, there are many memories. Some are happy and cherished, while others can be painful. But there are also memories to be made. Its not often you get to see your family, sit down, and have a meal. The older we get, the more we cherish those times. We’re not denying the stress they bring—family, as much as we love them, can be the worst. Are you seeing anyone? When are you getting married? When are you going to have kids? Get a better job. When are you going to buying a house? You’ve put on weight. You’re too skinny. AND so much more. But guess what? Most often it’s out of love.

Today we challenge you to be present. Put down your phone, put away your computer. Hug your mom, talk to your dad, don’t harass your siblings too much. Tell your family you love them. Even if they bug you. Stop and enjoy the moment for what it is. You never know how long you have with them and these are the times you’ll remember.
